Has anyone ever tried Mucinex??? I am thinking about trying it. I have samters..... had a surgery 4 yrs ago...polyps returned in months.... I have done the predinosone here and there...acupuncture...chiro....I havent tasted or smelled in 4 or more yrs. even after the prednisone. I was tested for allergies and didnt show any reaction

Dr. said I have hyper sensitivities....I cant drink alcohol at all..... seems like anything that is fermented causes a reaction ((( polyps swell, sneezing. etc)....I just am getting over the flu..... and i think maybe I have a sinus infection by the look of the mucous... I take singulair, advair, and pulmicort respules in a nasal rinse...Thanks for any info anyone may have......It's Tax Time! Get tips, forms and advice on AOL Money Finance.

Mucinex is a great help to me when I'm clogged up. It is important to remember to drink extra water or it does nothing. There are no side effects, it is a safe drug. The other guaifenesin product is Robitussin which has too many extra ingredients (color, flavor, sweetener, preservative, etc.) Good to avoid these if you are sensitive to many things.PamOn Mar 15, 2008, at 2:18 PM, doreen3737@... wrote: Has anyone ever tried Mucinex??? I use Mucinex when I feel that I have clogged sinuses that are not draining. Mucinex is a safe drug by the name of Guafinessan (spelling?). It will get your nose running and it helps to drink a lot of water while you take he Mucinex. I find it too be helpful when I want to get my sinuses draining. Yes, many of us here have used Mucinex. What are you wanting it to

do? You can search through the files for some threads on it.
