Guest guest
The dose to keep you desensitized is different than the dose to treat. I was on 1300 milligrams a day for seven years ... if this helps answer your question. That was the dose Scripps told me to take. Guest guest
I've never heard of this, but my understanding is that the higher the aspirin dose (to a point) the better control over the disease. Many people, even though desensitized, can't tolerate aspirin at all, or can tolerate very little. But I know many people are desensitized with 650mg 2x day, so I think if you are increasing your dose by only a small amount you should be fine, especially if it helps with your symptoms. Several times I’ve had allergy-like symptoms with the sneezing and runny nose. It was minor so I wasn’t too worried but I did cut a 325 pill into fourths and took ¼ more. That seemed to take away the attack. My question—should I just up to that amount each time?
