Guest guest
Well, after finally getting my insurance company to ok the aspirin desens. and finding the hospital and doctor in the Western New York aread to do it ------------ I go to my surgeon for a checkup ------ he tells me my polyps are back ----- and before doing the aspirin desens, I need another surgery to remove the polys. Otherwise, down the road, I'll need to go off the aspirin regimen for surgery. Sooooo, it' off to the hospital in three weeks for the surgery. Then, three weeks after recovery, it's off to the hospital again ------ for the aspirin desens. I hope to God that this will finally relieve some of the symptoms and I'll get my smell back with out the use of prednisone. I'll keep you posted. Guest guest
With desensitization, plus aggressive irrigation, you may avoid the need for surgery. > From: " dm.teal1 " <dm.teal1@...> > Subject: Add another surgery before aspirin desens. > > Well, after finally getting my insurance company to ok the aspirin > desens. and finding the hospital and doctor in the Western New York > aread to do it ------------ I go to my surgeon for a checkup ------ he > tells me my polyps are back ----- and before doing the aspirin desens, > I need another surgery to remove the polys. Guest guest
.... except that many places refuse to do desensitization unless you're cleared out within a month or two ahead of the desense.
