Guest guest
I have been a Samters sufferer for the last 23 years. A year and a half ago I underwent aspirin desensitization in hopes of decreasing the polyps and chronic sinus infections. I have had an on-going sinus infection since October and am on my 3rd course of antibiotics and Prednisone. I went to my ENT surgeon today to be scoped. I was feeling pretty certain that I had polyps again. Well, I was beyond surprised when he told me that I was still, a year and a half after desens., polyp-free. Just wanted to share. I feel that if you have not tried desens. yet and you are facing more and more surgeries, it is more that worth the try. Now I can relax and deal with the sinus infection as my primary concern.
