Questions from a newly aspirin-desensitized person

I got desensitized three weeks ago. I didn't have a definitive reaction during

desense, possibly because I was loaded up with Singulair, Zyflo and prednisone

to minimize complications. I now take 1300 mg of aspirin a day. My nose may be a

bit better but I'm not sure about my asthma. I actually had one of my worst

asthma attacks in years a week after desense. After that post-desense attack,

they put me on daily Zyflo and Singulair in addition to the aspirin. I don't

know what's going on here. Maybe I'm expecting too much too soon or maybe I

wasn't really aspirin sensitive (in spite of my history of severe asthma,

sinusitis with polyps and one bad asthma attack many years ago after aspirin).

In any case, I'm disappointed and confused.

If anyone can identify with any of the above or has any helpful comments, I'd be

grateful. Thanks!
