I put one respule in a Neils Med bottle with a saline packet and water and then rinsed half one side then the other. I would use it in the morning and at night. I was very happy with it but then my ears started to bother me so I stopped. Apparently some patients have had some success with this therapy. It is considered an "off use" therapy - not reported or promoted by the manufacturer. I go to the Cleveland Clinic and they give me a Mucosal Atomization Device ( MAD Syringe ). I use half of the respules in each side by spraying it in with the syringe I do it twice a day. Syringe is made by (www.wolfetory.com). I use the grosson machine, the neilmed bottle caused me a lot of trouble with my ears. 1/2 on each side. I had to have the polyps removed before trying it though. Well I needed the poylps removed because they were visible. Once they were removed the ENT figured we should try this. It's been just under a month and I feel great. Guest guest Posted August 6, 2008 Report Share Posted August 6, 2008 So I got a prescrption (finally) for the Pulmicort respules today. I am going to look in the archives for messages about them, but I was wondering if anyone could give me more specifics about it. I have a HUGE polyp in my left nostril and I am hoping this is going to help. I'm so frustrated right now. I got the higher dose, the 0.5 mg dose. Is this what other people are using? I got it to use once a day, but I don't know if that's what I should have gotten. Perhaps it should have been more? I don't want to put too many steroids in my body. I mixed it with the NeilMed packet and some water. But I think it was too diluted, maybe. I am thinking of using less water and only part of the NeilMed packet. Any suggestions here? How long did it take you to see results? I happen to be having a VERY bad sinus night after using the Pulmicort in my neti pot earlier in the day, but I'm hoping that's just a coincidence.
