Thank you for letting us know.  I am glad to know that she is no longer in pain.  She has and will continue to be missed.  She will be remembered through her many posts and her helpful advice.  Gods speed Lori.

I too had followed Lori on Caringbridge, but lost track of her when she went

to Hawaii last month and announced that she would not be posting for a

while.

Members of this group who joined in the last few years may not appreciate

the contribution she made to this group as it matured, not just in terms of

the information she offered, but also for the quality of her posts, and the

rigour and skepticism with which she sifted the submissions of others. The

fact that this group is still serious and largely free of irrelevant

nonsense is due in no small part to Lori Baur.

Of anyone, she was the rock upon which this group was built, and everyone

who has found value here owes her thanks. What she did here and in her

other ventures makes her a true hero to me.

My own neice is of the same age, and similarly afflicted, and will follow

Lori before too long. It is discouraging to observe such suffering and

waste, but we can take some comfort in the courage and fortitude and

integrity demonstrated by women like Lori.

RIP truelori.

Lori was of great help on this forum and always provided a wealth of information for us. Very sad to hear that she's passed. thanks for posting and letting us all know. may she rest in peace and God be with her family during this time. Bianca

I too remember Lori from way back. She was a wonderful and contributing member of this site, and she fought a long and hard battle with cancer.

My thoughts are with her family and friends.

Lori contributed a ton of knowledge and information to this forum and I am very sad to hear she passed away. She was a fighter and an inspiration. Thanks for letting us all know of this sad event.
