Positional exercises might help this. If you can't find them on the Internet

send me your address and I will find my copy and mail it to you.

I have a type of vertigo (only at night and only once in a while). It seems

I can track it back to eating seafood that is high in mercury.

The only time I think vertigo is hep related is when your on treatment . Then it is usually due to abnormal white or red blood cells . Hopefully you just have an ear infection and nothing more serious .

vertigo

Hi, I'm hoping this is just an ear infection,I had one about 6 wksago, but I've had 3 bouts of vertigo recently, and wondered if thiscan be a hep-c symtom? I made a Dr. apt. for tomorrow, could havegotten in today, but nobody to drive me and don't think I should bedriving.

hi a,

I was considering melatonin and did some research on it about 1

1/2 years ago. It appears that they recommend it for ppl with sleeping

problems who have hypertension because it can decrease blood pressure

during the night. Once i read that i crossed it off my list.

Corinna-

First of all you have provided me with a new goal. Running a 5 K! and doing it

in under 60'.

But I have to get better first. Right now I treadmill,a fast walk,  but have to

hold on to the treadmill because I might fall off.

I had a virus about 7 weeks ago and it caused an inflammation in the inner ear.

Or at least that's what doctors are telling me. It will take time...

Patience.... In the beginning I was sent to all kinds of doctors to rule out

heart, thyroid, neurology, etc. Nope, I don't have sinus either.  So...

patience....

The funny thing was that I had just started on the IOWL and was doing soooo

well. I had lost the first 8 pounds over the christmas holidays and felt like it

was getting easy and I was on a role.

Then I reached 141 (again....) and bam! came down with this.

Sort of makes you wonder, doesn't it?????

- did I ask you what causes yours? Mine is sinus congestion.

Netipot for me! Actually I do the Neti Sinus Rinse since I prefer to look

like I am trying to snort a genie out of a lamp.

That and Nasonex and Singulair daily. Whee!

Ok, but inflammation in the ear is what always causes mine and that is

what the nasonex and singulair is for (and sinus rinse.. so much fun..

but it really really helps).

I hope it's not anything more!! =)

I know how you feel with the vertigo. Be careful to rest. When I started

the sinus rinse (with saline solution) it made my vertigo worse for a day

or two and then REALLY helped clear it up. I was also having trouble with

what I thought was asthma getting worse. It was all in my head! (or

sinuses)

I am happy you are motivated to do a 5K. They really really are fun and

it's amazing what an accomplishment like that can do for your confidence.

it's actually in the labyrinth. I went to a specialist today and it's a disorder

in the labyrinth. I have to do another test tomorrow and we'll see if it's only

in the left or in the right also. Not feeling so good today....

I couldn't exercise and didn't do too well with the food. Tomorrow will

definitely be a better day!

Thanks sooooo much Jantje... :-)

You are truly an inspiration to me!

I've decided since I'm home anyway and most of the pressure is off me on a daily

basis to take this as a gift and relisten to all the podcasts and look over all

my notes again, organise my diet and try to get in some exercise everyday.

- suffer from it to the point where I would be diagnosed with

paranoid schizophrenia? Thank GOD, no. When I start getting it, I up the

sinus douching. ;) I've only had that anxiety twice.

For what I remember, yes, but a lot of different root too.

I would suggest two different approaches:

- Have your cervicals checked

- Try to stop gluten for 3/4 months

Tina, these are good suggestions but I will add 2 more.

1) Take a decongestant as this will dry any water in the ear that is causing vertigo

2) If you are at the age of menopause, the hormone fluxuation will cause vertigo.

3) We are experiencing Solar Max...or it is approaching. During the first 2 years of Max, starting now, some people experience vertigo with the ringing of the earth's electromagnetic field.

You can check out spaceweather and the KP index listed there to check to see if it is ringing RED.
