Guest guest
How recent are your MRIs?When was the last time you saw a spine specialist?Have you had more than one opinion?Have you tried epidural steroid injections?Have you tried physical therapy?FranFrom: BEVIE <bevgonsman@...>Subject: SPINAL-stenosisSpinal Stenosis Treatment Date: Saturday, January 15, 2011, 8:12 PM Yes I have had 2 mri's. Both diagnosis is stenosis. degenerative discs, cervical C4-5,5-6,6-7 in the neck.1 middle of spine, and three in lumbar,L4-5,L-4-5 L-5-s5-1. also I have 2 tarlov cists.I know surgery is not for me. Spondylitis was seen.I get shakes not tremors then if I don't set down I fall down. I usually get bad shakes for a couple seconds then I know to set down before I fall. Surgery is a 50 =50 chance of being able to walk again.

Guest guest
Your MRI's are too old to have any value in helping to diagnose you. What existed in 2007 and earlier, may or may have changed, and it is vital to get new ones of your spine, both cervical and lumbar to see what is going on and if anything has changed.Between new MRI pics to view, exam by spine specialists will help to determine if there are new issues going on, how much, if at all, your issues of worsened and what exactly causing you pain and difficulty walking now.You may or may not be a candidate for surgery, and only a spine specialist can answer that question, but many new things have come about in the last few years that my very well benefit you.You need to be evaluated again and have new MRIs of your cervical and lumbar spine done. You can't say that nothing has changed on the pics between 2007 and now. That may be true and it may not be.The fact that you are getting much worse since the last MRI was done, indicates that your issues have worsened and there is a need to find out exactly what it is.FranFrom: BEVIE <bevgonsman@...>Subject: Re: SPINAL-stenosisSpinal Stenosis Treatment Date: Monday, January 17, 2011, 9:37 AM > > From: BEVIE <bevgonsman@...> > Subject: SPINAL-stenosis > Spinal Stenosis Treatment > Date: Saturday, January 15, 2011, 8:12 PM > > > > Hi: My last MRI was in 07.
