Grateful for any info on helpful products (UK based)

I wake up frequently with dry mouth, due to polyps. I don't want to keep taking

nasal sprays, or pred, which have a purely temporary relieving effect.

Does anyone know of a product or remedy which might assist?

Biotene does not necessarily prevent dry mouth, but it is a wonderful relief

to gargle with it when you wake up and are not able to swallow because your

mouth and throat are so dessicated.

It also probably helps to prevent side effects of mouth breathing, eg.,

rotting teeth as has been reported here. It claims to deal with biofilms.

Not sure if it is available in the UK.

This is a problem I've had for years and also dry eyes as well. My allergist had a nuclear scan done about a year ago and it showed that I had xerostomia. He recommended eye drops available from the chemist to moisturise them and as to the dry mouth, I just ensure I have a bottle of water next to my bed each night. I also drink quite a lot during the day which has helped as well.
