Itchy Prednisone hands & feet

To all of you who also get itchy from prednisone (especially hands

and feet)

I was always a little afraid that I was developing an allergy to

prednisone, which would be AWFUL since sometimes that's all that

helps me. I am on a taper right now, as a matter of fact, but low

enough that the itching is gone. I realized in myself that the

itchinesss was worse the more flushed and peripherally dilated I

felt, i.e. after a shower. So I stuck my itchy feet under the cold

water stream in the bathtub- and it really helped!

One trial does not a scientific trial make, but I encourage others to

try this too. And as always, keep us posted.
