Guest guest
My history: 5+ years diagnosed with Samter's. 3 polyp removal surgeries about a year apart. Last one was Aug 2010. After seeing my ENT for my followup exam in Nov, he said that the polyps were already growing back in and that I had the worse sinuses that he's ever seen. I've tried aspirin desensitization, but the aspirin gave me too much stomach pain, so I had to quit. After reading this forum and ehealth forums, I decided to try Zyflo. I started taking them Dec 23rd and noticed improvement about 2 days later. It is now 2+ weeks later and I can breathe again! I've previously been on Singulair, Advair, Flovent, and Budesonide rinses. Only the Advair really helped, Singulair did nothing. Now I'm just on the Zyflo and once in a while I use the Flovent. I still have some stuffiness and a little mucus, but hardly any inflammation and my sense of smell has come back. I just wanted to share this because I'm going through what you guys are going through and hope that Zyflo can help you as it has helped me. So if you haven't tried it yet, talk to your doctor about it (I had to learn about it on my own). Good luck everyone!
