I understand most eicosonoids act like hormones in the body.Here is the arachidonic metabolic pathway again.

I understand 15-LO is not as well studied as 5-LO ; the eicosanoid pathway is in fact a collection of pathways which will require many more years of exploration before all is known about it. It's like a family tree where you add branches every now and then.
