Dear Gemma

Welcome to the group. Your English is very good indeed - there is no need to

apologise. Also, we have some Spanish speakers in the group - so feel free

to write in Spanish sometimes.

Some parents from this group have visited Mr Collin in his Harley Street

practice. This is his private practice. He also works in Moorfields Eye

Hospital in London where he sees national health service patients.

Actually, this is a summary, but I think that it is what you wanted to know.

If you want to make an appointment to see him you need to contact his

secretary, . I think, but I am not sure, that the consultation costs

around 150 pounds. Harley Street is in central London, near Oxford Street.

Sometimes it is possible to get an appointment quickly, at other times you

may need to wait a few weeks. I guess it depends on his schedule.

Here are some contact details:

Mr Collin, MA, MB, BChir, FRCS, DO

Specialty: Ophthalmology

Special Interests: Ophthalmic Plastic Surgery

Qualifications: MA, MB, BChir, FRCS, DO

GMC Number:0154208

Private Practice Correspondence: 67 Harley Street, London W1G 8QZ

Private Practice Telephone: 020 7486 2699

Private Practice Fax: 020 7486 8626

I hope that this is useful for you.

Take care

Shireen

Dear Shireen,

Thank you for your warm welcome. Thank you very much for the

information of Dr. . We are visiting a doctor in May (we have

told he is one of the bests here in Spain) and perhaps try to get an

appointment with Dr. in his private practice as you

suggested, after seein the Spanish one.

Thank you again and keep in touch.

Regards.

Gemma.

Good to hear from you Tracey! Sounds like you have your hands extra full! And I'm happy you have a new man in your life. Maybe the male influence is what the boys need to settle them down a bit. I know that will take some time, but I'm thinking you're on the right track.

Hopefully we'll hear more from you now that you are moved.

Love, Shari

Tracey, I'm so glad your life has gone so well after what you went through losing your husband. You seem to be on the right track and you and the children seem to be well taken care of. My thoughts are with you and wishing you continued happiness.

Hi Gayla

Yes I know things will work out. I have had to be nothing but patient

in this relationship as Mark finds his way. I always knew we were

going/mean't to be together but he had to slowly find his way.

I have a good man that is worth waiting for so I will be patient.

Hi Shari

Yep my hands are extra full. I'm happy too and yes I know I'm on the

right track I have for a long time it has just taken Mark 'time' to

find his way. A lot of ups and downs but now I can relax a little

knowing I have him and then wait patiently for rest to come and enjoy

what I have.

Hi

No probably not a coincidence don't really believe in them.

Everything happens for a reason as do people come and go from our

lives for a reason too.

Yes I have my hands full and the boys and are definately

keeping my hands full, sometimes it feels like too much and every now

and again it all gets to me being on my own with them. Mark does his

best to keep them in line as he has done since Carl passed away but

they are very stubborn, strong willed and free spirited kids. Wonder

where they get that from.

Trying to settle them down into their homeschooling as I am on trial

with the Board of Studies at present so I have a huge task ahead of

me. At least we have a cheap and permanent house for the moment so

maybe now we can settle into a routine.

So how have all your family been?

Tracey

Hi All

Hi All

Well I've moved again this time to somewhere cheaper and more permanent

although not in a place I want to be but we have a good 5 bedroom house and

it feels good here. The next and only move will be to Wreck Bay

(which is

where Carl grew up and where Mark, my new man lives).

I've had an emotional time lately with moving and the passing of my Nan who

suffered and fought to the end after numerous strokes. Must be where my mum

and I get our strength from.

The kids are good playing up as usual and being stubborn and as free

sprited. I may as well talk to a brick wall - if it answers me though then I

might be in trouble. My little princess will be 2 soon and oh is she ever a

little woman and picking up lots of bad habits from her 5 big brothers.

Things are going really well with Mark it has taken some time on his part

but he has finally said he wants to spend the rest of his life with me but

we are in a complicated situation so it will need time before we can be

together properly.

Health wise I'm not doing too good still struggling to get back to being

raw but with everything that has happened in the past 13 months since Carl

passed away I suppose I will get there eventually.

Love & Hugs

  • 2 months later...

I also belong to a health forum, whereby people have had huge improvements in their health no matter what condition,

by drinking a homemade alkalising drink...

I don't want to detract from this group by posting the details..

but I could ask permission to share the recipe here.

It seems having enough alkalising elements in the body all day and every day is just so important for organs and glands to work properly, and we are electrical beings, if the ph is off, we sort of short circuit you might say!

So not sure if the ph factor has been discussed in this group before?

thanks
