Shoe lifts in sandals...

I only need a 1/2 inch lift, so I don't know if this will work for you, but what I do is cut layers of the thick moleskin foam (you can get it at a drugstore or at a Target/ KMart type store) to fit the area of the sandal that will be under my heel, and layer them up until I get it right. My caveat - this will get smashed down with use, so you may need to add layers as time goes by.

Good luck,

Carolyn

Re: Joyce toe pain

Do you know if they can put shoe lifts on sandals with straps? I have to go back to using the one inch shoe lift again and that means I have to limit the shoes I can wear again. > I've never had any swelling to speak of . I like that idea, it is worth trying for a lot of my shoes, the

lifts I have to have put on the outside of my shoes costs anywhere

from $50 to $60 depending on the type of shoe.

Thanks for the info, I am going to give that a try.
