Guest guest
Hi All I had a client who had stopped smoking due to haveing seen what came up on the QX. I gave him hom. remedies to help with the craving and detox. He was doing well untill we decided to get all the Nicotine going and zapped it on the QX. This was a mistake as the craving got so strong he couldn't resist it and smoked again. I gather slow is better also here! So taylormade prescriptions of hom support with either Daphne indica, Caladium, Phos, Plantago, Gels, Spigelia, Sepia, Tabacuum, Abies nig, Ars, Argent nit, Veratr alb. etc. is probably better. I personally stopped and stayed stopped, with just taking a dose of Daphne ind. every time I got the 'nudge'. I also had a few Kinesiology balances, I was determined not to become a 'when we' smoker. This worked realy well as you can light up right next to me and it doesn't bother me at all. I remember one balance had to be for me not being able to visualize myself without a cigarette. What I cannot visualize I cannot do. Come on god people - quit today, its so nice to be a non smoker, it's really liberating! By the way, there is never a best day - the best day is TODAY, right Now! Expect the first 3 days to be difficult, the next 3 better and on the 7.day you realize that you actually survived without this glow stick in the corner of your mouth. There is a withdrawl time, a grief time, an anger time and and adjustment time but also a great reward time - it is the best present you can give to yourself! I will gladly send you the remedies you need if you post me a lock of your hair, for me to analyze with a Biotensor which remedies will assist you most, and a small donation for the postage. Hope this helps Sylvia weight loss / smoking Does anyone have any protocols to share for weight loss or stopping smoking? thanks for your help! Jan............................................ Guest guest
I agree with your summary of the effect of withdrawal over the first days. As a young man I could only manage coffee with 7 or 8 spoons of sugar in! One friend was so horrified that he supervised me out of this. He said 'gradual withdrawal will be no good. Stop dead (fine with sugar for taste, not perhaps for everything!). The first cup will be so disgusting you'll hardly keep it down. The next day horrible. The third day not very nice. The fourth day take it or leave it. The fifth day drinkable. The sixth day all right. The seventh day fine. On the eighth day have one with the original amount of sugar and you won't get it down, and will wonder how you ever did!' He turned out to be exactly right - and I've used this story with patients since (for sugar and mild addictions). And of course I no longer drink coffee! Guest guest
Hi Robin, I quit before surgery because I didn't want to do anything to jeopardize the surgery (my fear of dying was pretty high then). After surgery, I didn't really think about smoking at all. Everything smelled weird after surgery, and continued to smell weird for 2 weeks. I couldn't drink coffee (wasn't supposed to anyway) because it smelled and tasted funny. A lot of people experience this after surgery, no matter where they have it done. Anyway, I figured it would help me to quit, so I just stayed away from it. You have to really want to quit I think, and I was there. I got tired of smelling like ciggarettes, my house smelling like em, and my kids! Plus I just wanted to get healthy. I figured since getting the surgery, I would have to exercise more, and being short of breath wouldn't work. M. Stop Smoking Maybe can help with this.....I noticed on your website you said you haven't smoked since the surgery. Is it because it hurts or makes you sick, or just because you had to stop prior to surgery and didn't want to start up again? Does anyone else still smoke around you? How do you deal with it? Have you not even tried 1 since surgery? Curious as to your technique.
Guest guest
I work in a woundcare center and we encourage everyone to quit smoking because it has been proven to keep you from healing. I think it is something to do with depleting oxygen from your blood. People just seem to heal faster when they are not smoking. We work with a plastic surgeon who does skin grafts and sometimes who will refuse to do the surgery if he finds they have a heavy smoking habit. I have quit once before cold turkey, I think it helps to not have them around the house yet to have something to fall back on. My fallback was Coltsfoot. Not only does smoking it help repair the lung damage done, but if you smoke a cig after smoking that it tastes horrid and makes you nauseous. Hope this helps a little. ~Kat

I am the type of gal who doesn't even take an aspirin, I opt for white willow tea. It has been quite a few years since I've been down the mainstream drug route and I rather like it here. To every drug or shot there is always some sort of side effect and I've just seen too much harm done to want to tread that path. I've found I physically feel better now too. I think my body is thanking me with less cracks and pains. So that's why I wouldn't take the shot. Oh yes, and I hate needles too! The coltsfoot can be smoked either through a pipe, or can be rolled into cigs. I found that having a few rolled helps when in those social situations, or still taking that break from work. ~Kat P.S. It's my pleasure to be able to share Joy. Many miraculous blessings.

Guest guest
How I quit 15 yrs ago: One night I talked Creator, " I know smoking is not good for my body, if it is time to quit, What is my Key? " Awoke next morning with this: 'Try it for a year or 2 & see how you feel. You can always start again.' Cold turkeyed cigarettes & coffee, kept busy, kept a partial pack around for months & everytime I weakened I just took a sniff - ugh. Radiating UNCONDITIONAL LOVE & Truth To ALL who share our circle, our universe, our love, our trust. May I always be found worthy. Gratitude & Thankfulness to All of Us aSoaringHawk Look at everything as though you were seeing it either for the first or last time. Then your time on earth will be filled with joy & glory.
