I also have herbal combinations that I have made over

the yrs, one for constipation, sleeping aide, even one

for animal bites, menstruation (bring it on) tea..

red clover is great for acne too, boils..

Dear Joyce,

If there is anyone else with polio, they should beware of Echinea, it

can not be used. Sorry that I do not remember the medical reasons,

only it is not good for me, so I avoid its use. Atie

For colds I use plantain(LLantan in Spansh) a herbal tea from Chile.

I can share:

this one is for menstruation:

now all of these herbs are powdered, that is how I

like them.

Raspberry leaves

lemon grass (for flavor)

nettle

uva ursi

false unicorn

cramp bark (great for painful menstruation)

don quai

astragalus

squaw vine

horsetail

dandelion root

if you have a suppressed menstruation " motherwart "

should be added or juniper, or chammomile, even castor

bean oil works, pennyroyal too..these are some or all

you may want to use. Like the above combo I put

astragalus in which is for the immune system. This is

my personal combo in which I have used for yrs.

Usage: about a tsp of this combination into a mug full

of hot water, is ratio..steep and strain..using a tea

pot with a cover to steep herbs works good.

this is my sleepy mix:

Hops

Passion flower

catnip

peppermint

rosemary

mullein

donq quai

this is a thyroid mix:

golden seal (little bit)

cayenne (little bit)

gentian

Irish moss

white oak bark

bayberry root

schzandria

gota kola

kelp

diarehea/stomachache

I used to give this to my children, worked great

peppermint

chammomile

eucalyptus

raspberry leaves

blackberry leaves

catnip

chickweed

sarsparilla

constipation tea

this I used alot for one of my kids and made

capsules.. always worked

senna

licorice

slippery elm

irish moss

golden seal (little bit)

fennel

psyllium seed

sarsparilla

I keep these combos in a tight jar in dark jars

prefer.

I get my herbs from the penn herb website, there is a

wealth of information on their site. And I get herbs

locally too.
