Guest guest
Hi Everyone, During our 3 day course last month, Dr Masgutova showed us the Abdominal Reflex and it was not in our handbook as it was an extra thing she wanted to share with us. I was watching her apply the pressure points that I forgot to write down what this reflex is responsible for and how often should it be applied. I only vaguely remember that it helps the person to sleep better. Thank you. Kind regards, Grace
Guest guest
Dear Doreen, Yes, it is enough to be one, favorite side - and in any confirmable position – prone or supine. When child falls asleep, please, don't awaken the child to complete your exercise/posture on other side . Sometimes you will find that the position of the head can go to extension - don't try to do "your best" to bring it to perfect abdominal position (= aside and some flexion to the shoulder direction). - Leave sleeping child in peace... . In the picture you will see some sort of Abdominal Position with head extention... S. Masgutova. I have done it for my son for claming and for getting him to sleep. I usually will do it on the right side of his back. Most of the time he will fall asleep by then. Should I stop on only one side of his back after he falls asleep? Is it ok to do it on one side of his back which I am comfortable with?
