Guest guest
I live on Facebook. Has a page been established yet? Â I was wrong about Facebooki! Yup, sometimes it takes me a while to get up to speed, but I have finally recognized the importance of social media. If you are interested in helping to build a Feisty presence at Facebook, Twitter, or LinkedIn, please contact me either at my private email or at the group. Thanks, Â Â

Guest guest
I LOVE Facebook! Try to limit the amount of time I'm on computer this time of year...we post-revision Flatbackers need to take full advantage of nice weather! Erie's winters tend to keep me housebound a lot for fear of falling. But I do go on FB at least once a day; it's a great way to keep up with my kids and keep in touch with old friends. I can't profess to be " FB savvy " but will help out however I can. I think it will be a tremendous way to reach new folks looking for info on Flatback Syndrome & available treatments, physicians, etc. Let me know what I can do via Feisty site or e-mail me directly. All the best, Beth B. > > > > From: <elizabethrgonzalez@> > > Subject: I was wrong about Facebooki! > > > > Date: Thursday, August 18, 2011, 12:43 AM > > > > Yup, sometimes it takes me a while to get up to speed, but I have > > finally recognized the importance of social media. > > > > If you are interested in helping to build a Feisty presence at Facebook, > > Twitter, or LinkedIn, please contact me either at my private email or at > > the group. > > > > Thanks, > > > > > > > > > > > > ------------------------------------ > > > > Support for scoliosis-surgery veterans with flatback syndrome caused by spinal hardware. Guest guest
I think all we have to do is have someone who's already of FB go to their " HOME NEWS FEED " and click on the link to " CREATE A GROUP " . Then if we post a message on the Feisty site that there's a new FB page for Flatback Syndrome, all people have to do is " LIKE " the page and we're off & running. I don't how how a new FB Group is announced or advertised though. Perhaps can answer that question. Guest guest
Thanks for the input everyone! You are most certainly right about that, Peggy. The " like " style pages are more for businesses or brands. Support groups are discussion groups that a person has to " join " instead of " like " . Or at least that's how I understand the nuances When we get things set up, we'll go ahead and let people know, so that you can look us up and join! > > > > > > > > From: <elizabethrgonzalez@> > > > > Subject: I was wrong about Facebooki! > > > > > > > > Date: Thursday, August 18, 2011, 12:43 AM > > > > > > > > Yup, sometimes it takes me a while to get up to speed, but I have > > > > finally recognized the importance of social media. > > > > > > > > If you are interested in helping to build a Feisty presence at Facebook, > > > > Twitter, or LinkedIn, please contact me either at my private email or at > > > > the group. > > > > > > > > Thanks, > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > ------------------------------------ > > > > > > > > Support for scoliosis-surgery veterans with flatback syndrome caused by spinal hardware.
