We enjoyed exchanging our knowledge about what was going on in the metaphysical field. Lazaris is channeled by Jach and in the book "Lazaris Interviews, Book, 1," Lazaris is asked, "You often said that if one doesn't get what one programs for, one doesn't really want it, or has a hidden agenda for not allowing oneself what one wants. Others in the metaphysical community have said that if your programming isn't working it's because God has something else in mind for you. Is this a copout answer only, or is it ever appropriate?"Lazaris: It's mostly a copout answer, but can be appropriate from time to time. We suggest you get what you want. What could be better than getting what you honestly want? God doesn't necessarily have anything better in store for you than what you want. Your reality is an illusion. You get what you want, but not always what you ask for. When you program and it doesn't work, it can mean a number of things. It means that you do have hidden agendas. You're taking payoffs, or you have other agendas. Also, it could mean you're not clear in your programming -- you're not clear on definition of terms or the semantics of what you and your subconscious interpret (you're not on the same wavelength). Further, there are faulty programmings.Even if you're using our techniques, which work rather incredibly well, you can do them improperly. If you do a 33-second technique for 35 seconds, for example, it's going to change the energy -- not bring failure necessarily, it's not black and white -- but it's not going to be the same as if you do it for 33 seconds, then it's certainly not going to create the same reality.It could mean that you're not using your tools, you're not using the resources, and it could mean that indeed other things of that sort are going on -- that you don't really want what you ask for, or you don't have the beliefs and the attitudes to allow it.Upon occasion your Higher Self will intercede. Your Higher Self will know, for example, that "if they get what, it's going to set them back in their growth." At times God, through your Higher Self, will intercede, but it's not as though God says you can't have something. You can have it all. Your Higher Self and God, through your Higher Self, may be acting for your benefit -- on your behalf -- and intercede.For example: "I want to program a lot of money so I can quit work." Your Higher Self knows that will kill you, and therefore, in your interest, may well, for that very reason, interfere with your programming. If your motivations aren't clear and aren't harmonious and aren't productive, then SOMETIMES -- SOMETIMES -- SOMETIMES your Higher Self will step in.
