I knew about it, because even though we hadn't ever emailed before, she lives near Chicago and was kind enough to visit me in the hospital when I my revision surgeries. She was in the beginning process of getting things set up for it, and then we lost touch. Last I heard, she was doing rather well. But I haven't heard directly from her on the specifics of either the procedure itself or how she feels it affected her.
