Walking after surgery

Hi Everyone... once I got home from the hospital, my doctor also wanted me to

walk. No less than 1/2 hour a day. At 3 months I was walking miles and miles in

those Reebok easytone sneakers. Now 2 years postop... riding a bike 10 to 15

miles at a stretch... and actually went bowling for the first time in 25 years.

( I did very poorly by the way).. I continue walking in the pool 3 to 4 times a

week for 45 minutes and doing arm strokes as I walk using the Speedo webbed

gloves. I have not been in this good shape since i was in my 30's. I am now 52.

I also am back in heels... as long as I don't wear them everyday I am ok. So,

so far so good. I am grateful to have had this revision surgery. I just hope I

continue to feel this good....

Best To Everyone,

Peri
