I didn't have a lot of fat to lose either. I saw results when I took my 4 week pictures - my love handles were already shrinking considerably.

Hello and a question

Hello people. I'm from Argentina and I started on the BFL 2 weeks ago. Just FYI, the book was not translated here, it's still unknown.

Today I'll be starting with a personal trainer to see what happens. He doesn't believe in BFL but I'm determined to show him the results.

I wanted to ask you, when do you (on average) start seeing results as far as fat loss? I don't have that much to lose but I'm eager to know how much it took you guys on average.

By for now,

Why would you want to work with a trainer who doesn't " believe in "

the program you're doing? Sounds to me like you're creating an

unnecessary obstacle.

hi jen,

welcome and glad you are researching vaxing your kids!!

i would recommend that you reconsider the IPV, as there have been no wild

cases of polio in the US (I'm assuming you are in the us), in about 20

years...the ONLY cases of polio have come from the outdated OPV, which with

that being replaced by IPV makes the chances of contracting polio near

impossible.

personally, neither of my kids will ever receive another vax for anything!!

i am not really concerned with either the diptheria nor tetanus, so,

personally, i would skip the DT too...your kids are better apt to handle any

type of virus/illness that they encounter with an intact immune system, so i

say leave 'em be and let their bodies do what they were designed to do!! :o)

just my opinion--good luck with your decision!!

These really can wait till your child is older.Atleast a yr old for DT and

polio is really not an issue in this country, but some people still prefer to

vax for it.

Hi Jen, this is where you really need to know your diseases! Knowing the

history of the diseases is imperative as well. I believe <A

will have some good disease articles for you. You might also check out <A

I was gonna vaccinate my daughter with Tetanus until I joined this group and

Sheri Nakken showed me the light!

Welcome Jen,

Check out info on Tetanus - I've had so many letters in the last year on

the serious reactions to tetanus vax

http://www.nccn.net/~wwithin/tetanus.htm

and diphtheria isn't something that is concerning to me either.

And polio - lots of contamination of polio vaccines in the past with monkey

viruses and don't trust it now.

This is not true. See other info I have sent. For tetanus to cause

problems, #1 it must be there, #2 it must be an oxygen free environment in

your body (deep puncture would or severe burn with layers and layers of

dead tissue). Wound care - hydrogen peroxide and cleaning with soapy water

does the trick and let it bleed.

I also understand

>that Diptheria is life treatening.

Not necessarily.

I was not doing Pertussis because

Good reasoning and also the vaccine is very reactive

Hi there Jen,

My name is welcome to the group! I am a newbie to this group found it

to be very supportive and informative exactly what I needed because I have

decided not to vax my 12 mo old son.

During my research I came to the conclusion I would not vax at all. And I found

that I had nothing but slack from everyone! Parents, friends, and doctors all

opposing!

So I thought well I am sticking to my decision I mean really it not like I wanna

do wrong to my boy!

I love the little guy he is my world! Anyway what I noticed was the people who

opposed had no facts. None, they had no research on the pro's and con's. They

are all blind I recommend you do the research get informed. I think you will see

clearly all that is involved in the world of Mass inoculations! I found Neil Z

s books very informative! He has done lots of research and so have the men

and women on this site they have done tons of research take time and go to there

links!

We all have the same goals here we love are children and want to do what is best

for them. So the only way we can truely not be blind to the worlds urban legends

is to study beyond what is nesessary!

One more thing that helped me was looking into all the things that could be done

for you and your children if theyor you were to come down with any of the

illnesses that we all fear so. Alternative medical etc that education has been

very comforting to me.

Wow enough said I am a babbler at times I think spending all day long with 1

year takes it toll!

Best wished to you

(onemadqueen)

Antibodies don't necessarily mean immunity. The lack of antibodies doesn't

necessarily mean you are NOT immune.

Hi Tina

Welcome to the list. My name is Tracey and we have two daughters. Our

oldest is 12 (thinks she is 15 LOL) and our youngest Skylar will be

10 in October. Sky was diagnosed autistic at the age of 3. She is also

starting to show signs of puberty and it has me worried. Her older

sister started her period at 10 and I am not sure either Skylar or I am

ready for her to start. You will find this is a great place for advice

and there are quite a few on this list who are dealing with or have

already been through the puberty issues. They are always full of ideas,

advice and support. I am sure you will be glad you joined.

Hi,

My name is Kate and I have an 8y.o. daughter who was diagnosed with PDD-

NOS at age 3. Through many interventions (dietary, homeopathy,

biomedical) she has come a long way, but still has sensory integration

difficulties, hearing sensitivity and attention problems at school.

Is anyone familiar with a therapist named Bonnie Brandes? She is

offering a three hour consult where she will let me tape her doing the

Masgutova Method with my daughter so that we can work than use it with

her at home. She's charging $500 (alot of money, but haven't we all

spent a lot with all the various things we've tried over the years?).

I guess I'm wondering ir it's possible for Bonnie to provide us with

enough information to do the Masgutova Method at home with one three

hour consult, or if we'll need to find a therapist to work with us on a

more regular basis.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Kate H.
