Guest guest
Hi, I'm here, too and it's so good to see new and familiar friends. I just got home from a day of elder care (part-time job) and read 's note to Rob and that was when this clicked with me. I hadn't seen Amy's original post about this group. But, yesterday was very upset when posted about her husband getting an " accelerated " diagnosis and realized that some of the people who could be the most helpful to her were not able to post. I sent her a message and, thank goodness, so did others. But, she didn't have all the help that I knew could have been available to her. So, the first thing I did when I got home was feed my two cats. Then I read my mail, created a new account and I'm here! For those who don't know me, I'm 59 years old and was diagnosed in September 2001. I've been in CCR since 2002 and have been a member of the CML nomads traipsing from group to group as the disharmony continued on the original List, as we called it. I'm currently on 600 mg Gleevec (IM) after having been on 800 mg for several years. I'm currently on a job search having been on SSD for some time. In the interim I'm an elder caregiver and work at other things part-time until I finally land (or create) my new career! Thank you, Amy. May we thrive in a safe and sane and helpful cyber group. Love to all, L
