Dear Listmates:

Today's digest is a wonderful testament to support and the ways that we are able

to help one another. The responses to Susie should give her many things to try.

And I hope that some of the suggestions bring relief because as someone who only

occasionally copes with diarehhea I can't imagine having the side effects that

Susie is experiencing.

Which brings me to Dane, our CML Warrior of the moment. We are all with you,

praying for you, and taking courage from you. Your willingness to be

transparent and to share your journey enriches us all, just as it scares us. I

know that you have placed yourself in wonderful medical hands and I believe that

your faith in God will bring your peace regardless of your trials. I once again

have taken one of your photos and am using it as my computer background (the

longhorn in the field of flowers). Thank you for your gift of photos. I look

forward to them as I look forward to hearing the next stages in your journey.

Finally to Cheryl-Anne, , , Zavie, , and the others of you who

graciously use your time and your knowledge each day to answer question, I am

grateful. We are making this list a place to find answers, encouragement, and

support.

As horrid as it sounds, there are times when I envy women with breast cancer.

They can easily find others in their situation with whom they can talk. They

have pink ribbons, and group walk-a-thons, and lots of publicity. Without this

list, and you dear brothers and sisters, I would feel utterly alone. So while I

don't often " speak " please know that I am listening and the priviledge of

listening to the conversation is vital to my fight.

Thank all of you,

Kathie in Florida (formerly Kentucky)
