Guest guest
Hey, . I am 44 and had facet joint injections about 5 years ago. The type of injections I had were the ones with a steroid, anti- inflammatory, etc. These are done frequently for pain. While these DEFINITELY gave me relief, it didn't last very long...and you're only allowed 3-4 a year. I don't know anything about the exact procedure you described, but my dr. at the time was convinced my pain was in my facet joint. Sounds like your dr. thinks the same thing. If you do have the procedure, I would love to know the outcome. As a sidenote, a friend of mine with back spasms is getting ready to undergo Botox injections in his back. I will let everyone know what he thinks. I am attempting to post my back pic on this site, so check it out. Thx!---Sandi
