Introduction: Nishikubo, Special Needs Family Coach

I am a Special Needs Family Coach for Special Families who would like some

extra support in their holistic approach. I also go into schools with

education/information talks on key topics. We've found that parents armed with

this additional information are able to make better decisions on a day to day

basis with their children, and the family whole, and therefore achieve higher

learning potential.

I've been working with learning challenge issues for the last 30 years, since I

first discovered it, both personally and professionally.

Having had the experience being myself labeled " learning disabled " from a young

age, and despite these challenges with dyslexia, as well as auditory processing

disorder, I was able to graduate with a BA from Bennington College, 1985, and a

Masters from Columbia University in 1991.

In 1996, I began our health & wellness business RISING HEALTH. In 1998 with

motherhood came a passion around children's health. That passion, coupled with

my experience with learning challenges became what my specialty is today.

With only a rudimentary knowledge of Dr. Masgutova's work I look forward to

learning more.
