I have fibromyalgia and my Moro and Bonding are way off because of pre and post birthing trauma. Slowly getting there.

Good morning,

We generally speak about children but we know that the integration of primitive reflexes is also needed with adults.

Would someone have experience with fibromyolgia relating to lack of primitive reflexes integration? which reflexes? Intuitively I would think Moro and Bonding because of the Autonomic Nervous System....I would appreciate your thoughts....

I am told that some research is showing evidence that the reason females are so much more prone to this disorder is because of muscle flexibility associated with childbirth.... but it does not seem to me to be the main root...

Thank you,

Hi Suzanne,I have suffered with fibromyalgia for as long as I can remember. I have many reflexes that are somewhat off, but for me, the big one is spinal pereze. I was the demo at my first class and did not have a clue how to activate that pattern. I would love to hear updates if you learn more on this subject. From: Suzanne Day Day <suzanne.day@...>To:

Automatic sensory-motor loops which can benefit from further development will express stress which most likely will be reflected in the Autonomic Nervous System. The best way to know which circuits to work on is to assess the client. Moro may not be primary for Fibromyalgia. There is a clinically significant relationship (4 out of 5) between Fibromyalgia and Parasympathetic dominance, which is expressed metabolically to include elevated Calcium and Copper. Copper is synergistic to Estrogen, which lowers the tone of tendons and ligaments (useful during childbirth), and elevated Calcium can cause muscles to misfire. Combined these can establish an entrenched pattern of unbalanced tone in the musculoskeletal system, the hallmark of Fibromyalgia.More information on this here:http://lements.com/Docs/News%20July-August%2004.pdfMy primary concern working with Fibromyalgia is to not overtax the client, starting with a little reflex work, neurostructural and other techniques until I know how much work they can take without adding additional stress and thereby further depleting their capacity for responding to stress (adrenal and thyroid).
