Guest guest
pt: I was cleaning up my 'draft' folder and found this email that was not sent. O!!! YIPPEEE!!! Number 784 in the Zero Club Zavie [CML] qPCR Results Interpretation Hi All, My name is Teoh Poh Tiong. I am 27, resides in Malaysia. Here's my brief profile: Oct 01 - Diagnosed with chronic phase CML - Treated with hydroxyurea Oct 02 - Allo-related-BMT May 03 - Liver GVHD Now - Liver GVHD has subsided, no more medication :-) Results- BMG, FISH, CYTOGENETICS, qualitative PCR - negative However, my first qPCR (quantitative) shows the followings: " Quantitative BCR/ABL assay detected residual disease at a level of BCR/ABL to ABL ratio of 0.182 %. " May I know how significance is 0.182%? Is it something that I should be worried about? My hem suggest me to start at a low dosage of Glivec in order to eradicate the BCR/ABL completely. Help anyone? /best regards, pt << File: [CML] qPCR Results Interpretation.txt >>
