Raisa: I've had several issues with trigger finger, none while taking iodine.

Actually, iodine topically applied seems to be helping a residual problem from

an old release surgery, so I would not, without more, attribute your problem to

taking iodine. Did you experience any popping or pulling sensation in the thumb

before this -- because suddenly being unable to bend it doesn't sound like

classic trigger finger, precisely. Feel like providing more details?

Hi Raisa,There is most likely no direct connection between the iodine and your trigger finger with that kind of time lapse. You could have an illness that is causing it, or stressed the finger recently.
