Neuro-Structural and Tactile is important to do to activate the immune system in cases of cold - oue experience show - children will be sick much shorter period of time. This fact in the past surprised Prof. Nelli Akhmatova and she decided to lead a research on children with bronchatis. Results are published in her immunology research in Russia and translated into English (see at our Internet).

Hello Svetlana,I am intrigued about MNRI work improving bronchitis.  Since a pediatric therapist for the past 36 years, my doctor says my immune system is trashed from all the illness exposures from children all these years.  A simple cold always results in bronchitis for me.  Last year on 13 courses of antibiotics.  I really don't want to take gamma globulin, which my doctor suggested, so if something Hursthoph can teach me to do, I would be so grateful.  I took MNRI courses, but the tactile course was not one of them.

Thank you so much for any suggestions.Sincerely, Scholer OTR/L (the one who brings flowers to San Ramon)

Another suggestion would be to find a good classical homeopath in your area, I used to get sick very often and now I am much healthier with Homeopathy, good luck! From: Scholer <1otmom@...> Sent: Thu, February 10, 2011 10:30:18 PMSubject: Re:

, Have you tried probiotics?  I would suspect the antibiotics of trashing your immune system.  The exposure to lots of other illnesses should be building up your immune system, not weakening it.  Just my two cents.

Hello Donna,Yes, I take expensive, refrigerated probiotics everyday.  When on antibiotics, took these probiotics several times each day (between antibiotic doses) and have done so for several years now when I am taking antibiotics, as feel there would be even greater harm if not doing so.

Thank you so much Donna for confirming that at least I am doing one right thing.  Just wish my immune system was better, esp the IgA.  I'm looking for even more ideas to protect from the illnesses young children bring in to the clinic. When my son was an infant, I was told that his IgA also was not good.

Donna, If you or others have ideas for me, please write me off of this site (1otmom@...), as I want to be respectful that this site is for discussion of MNRI.Thank you so much.

Also after so many antibiotics, restore gut with probiotics, check for yeast which can also compromise immune function. Lots of great candida cleanses available and lots of diets on internet.

Hello

How are you?

I have been intrigued with the interplay of the nervous system and the immune

system for over 20 years as I am a " probable " MS (an autoimmune disease). I

never went back for a final diagnosis as all the tests made me worse and I was

told to go home, nothing would help and when I had another attack they would

prescribe something else. I set out on my own journey of discovery and that

brought me to Svetlana and the MNRI.

What I have discovered is that the stronger and more integrated my nervous

system gets the better my immune system is. They go hand and hand.

The way I see it, since the reflexes and all the other wonderful programs

Svetlana has put together focuses on the integration of the nervous system (very

general statement) it calms it down and so also calms down the immune system so

it is more balanced and does not over or under react.

So the more I work on my reflexes and their integration, the less problems I

have with my diet, sleep, fatigue and immune system.

I like to suggest that all of us integrate our own reflexes and reap the

benefits of the MNRI program for ourselves. It is win/win

be well

JOY

Hi Daphne, In reading your post to I began thinking about your comment, " So

the more I work on my reflexes and their integration " . Specifically I am

interested in your use of the word " I " . I know there are some reflexes that one

can work on independently or perhaps some integration exercises that can be done

independently(therefore working on your own reflexes) but I am curious as to how

YOU are working on YOUR own integration.

Did you simply mean you are working with someone to help you or did you

literally mean YOU are working on your integration? Would you mind expanding on

this?

I agree with you about how powerful it can be to " calm the nervous system " . My

mother-in-law just did a biofeedback assessment and the results indicated that

her para-sympathetic nervous system is basically shot. She has been diagnosed

with chronic fatigue, epstein barr, etc with the initial insult being a case of

Mono that she had for literally 2 years almost 20 years ago. She has been on

disability for 17 or so years now and really struggles with her issues. She is

beginning a homeopathic treatment plan aimed at initially simply " calming her

nervous system " so that she can then start addressing some of the other

potential issues like pulling Mono and strep from her system and perhaps some

heavy metals. I was wondering if she might also benefit from some reflex

integration work...I've only attended the Post and Dyn class so far so this is

where we'd have to start until I can get to some more classes. I am very

interested in what SHE can do independently that will hopefully help integrate

some of her reflexes while I'm in this learning process.

Thanks in advance for your thoughts and anyone elses. I'm really enjoying this

group and reading all the posts from the different members. Such facinating

work. I have several clients (all who have a diagnosis of autism) who we are

starting to do some of this work with and already seeing some cool stuff...I'll

post about that later!

Have a great week everyone! Vicky
