Dear friends, We are just back from the 11 day family camp in Poland. - It was an amazing experience. Our 7.5 year old son's challenges are mainly concentration in school, coordination and expressive speech, executive functioning. What they have discovered : in short: problem of tracking of eyes (can have an effect on concentration); fear paralysis reflex not integrated (we would have never thought about this, as our son is always a happy, very open and friendly kid); ATNR, babkin, and others. It made all so much sense when Svetlana explained to us what was going on. She is mindblowing,- just amazing. It gave us also a confirmation that we as parents were right that some things were not right with our son and that he has to work so much harder than other kids who have less challenges. After taking now 7 days of rest, we will have to start to do everyday therapies with our son. In 6 days, the therapists succeeded in correcting the eye problem tracking. (we still have to continue with the eye exercises). The ATNR is much better. The therapists were exceptional. Very professional, giving with so much dedication and love the therapies to the children,- 8 hours a day. - AMazing people!!

It was so nice to see all the love and patience the other parents had with their kids, mostly kids who had more challenges than our son. Our son loved every minute of the camp. Also the other kids seemed to like the therapies and the attention they got. I suppose it was such a secure environment for most of the kids and their parents. At the end of the camp our son had big tears in his eyes when he said goodbye to the other families and therapists. - A beautiful experience for us too as we view life again from a different angle.

We are 4 days back at work and school, and life seems to go so fast again. Next Saturday we will start the home program, which of course will not be easily to match with the professional hands. We still have years of work and we hope that we can go to another camp next year. We hope we will see some more positive changes in the coming months, mainly with concentration as this is needed for good academic skills. In camp we noticed a difference in his reading, these days , however, it seems it has gone backwards again.

We are based in Beijing for the time being and I hope to attend the Jakarta basic MNRI course in order to understand better why we work on the different reflexes.

Again here, - a big thank you to Svetlana and all the amazing therapists. It was a great life experience for our family!!
