Guest guest
Ohhhh , You're making me want to go out and do a 6-miler tonight! As you know, it feels sooo good to run. Just 4 years ago, I thought I was dead. Seriously. Mentally and physically, I was exhausted and thought the end was near. I'd endured 14 months of interferon, was down to 87 lbs (I'm 5'2 " ), and the interferon depression was keeping me on the 'couch'. (I'd NEVER been a couch potato!) Then Gleevec changed everything. I'm making up for all that 'couch' time! Training is 90% mental, and the other 10% is sweat! So, start with a 2 mile walk, then four, then six, then run 2, then run 3, etc. and before you know it - you'll be running a 1/2 marathon. As Nike says: " Just do it! " Later, Gale p.s. I'm an airforce brat. I totally admire what you have done for our country! God Bless you. In , " mherr252742003 " <mherr25274@a...> wrote: > Hi Gale, > What great pictures.
