Hi there! I'm really enjoy enjoying reading about everyone's experiences with

the reflex work! I was wondering if the group might be interested in periodic

postings with links to articles on motor control, sensory integration,

diagnoses, etc. While they may not be specifically regarding reflexes, they may

help make sense of the principles we've learned in our classes. I receive an

email weekly from Science Daily which collects a variety of articles regarding

health topics. I've copied the link to some articles from this week that may be

of interest.

will post or not post accordingly! :o)

~ I think your offer is wonderful.  Getting folks info from different perspectives help to get a more dynamic picture of individuals and their 'labels' of different/dysfunction....and be able to understand the medical conclusions with the wholistic applied kinesiology perspective.

Thanks for sharing your valuable resource!JanetOn Sat, Sep 17, 2011 at 1:51 PM, ot2b_2000 <ot2b_2000@...> wrote:

Hi ,Thank you so much for sending these very interesting articles, which may be of great interest to many in the children with challenges group. They certainly are of interest to me.  I am especially interested in the article on autism, as feel strongly that appropriate early intervention between 0-6 months can make a huge difference in the outcomes for children at risk for autism (i.e. family history, immune system dysfunction, bad reaction to earliest vaccinations), preventing them from retreating deeply into their autism.  This has been my personal experience with 3 at risk children starting therapy at 2 months, 4 months and 5 months.

Hi

I would be really interested to know what sort of therapy you did with such young infants and whether you saw any danger signs of autism in them (apart from being at risk because of family history) before you started.

Many thanks
