Guest guest
Hi Moushmi, In our office, we haven’t seen any side effects of Neurofeedback, but we use a qEEG brain map to define how to train the patient’s brain. It also depends on the system that’s being used. We do need to be cautious with patients who are on medication. As the brain starts to normalize and becomes healthier, we sometimes observe side effects from the medication. Naturally, patients should start to wean off the meds. In addition, if the patient suffers from any metabolic issues (think: leaky gut, gluten sensitivity, etc.) affecting their brain, the neurofeedback training will be inhibited by those issues and will not be as effective. So it’s important to look at all aspects of your child’s condition. There shouldn’t really be an issue combining Masgutova Reflex Integration with Neurofeedback. Hope this helps.Best regards, R. sonDoctor of Chiropractic son Health Center1175 Saratoga Avenue, Suite 8San , CA 95129408-517-0706www.jamiesonhealthcenter.com NOTICE OF CONFIDENTIALITY: This message and any attachments contains confidential information belonging to the sender intended only for the use of the individual or entity named above. Are there any side effects that we need to be aware of ? I am also planning to do Masgutova (not yet started). Will there be an issue if we do both at the same time ? Should I be doing them one after the other and if so in which order ? Please share your experiences. thanksMoushmi

Guest guest
Hi Moushmi, Every child situation is different. For my son, DIET and MNRI changed the issues from the fundamental. If your son only has attention issues, no other physical, behaviors, hyperactive etc. issues, Neurofeedback is an option. For Neurofeedback, my son doesn't finish his 1st set of session(40) yet. I couldn't share much. But Dr. son brought up a very great point that, if the patient suffers from any metabolic issues (think: leaky gut, gluten sensitivity, etc.) affecting their brain, the neurofeedback training will be inhibited by those issues and will not be as effective. I hope this help Charmaine From: Dr. son <drjamieson@...> Sent: Friday, September 16, 2011 7:44 PMSubject: RE: Neurofeedback and MNRI Hi Moushmi, In our office, we haven’t seen any side effects of Neurofeedback, but we use a qEEG brain map to define how to train the patient’s brain.
