Guest guest
I received the highest compliment I could ever receive. A compliment on my son's behavior! My son is so smart but his social skills have been so lacking that I quit going to play groups when he was about 2 1/2 or 3. He has steadily improved using the Masgutova program. Saturday we went to church and he went to the children's class appropriate for his age. We had actually attended this church regularly until he started having problems with the teacher so we quit. We have attended intermittently for the past couple years. The teacher came up to me after the class and said "I don't know what you are doing with your son but don't stop. He was a real pleasure to have in class" He told me at least 3 times that my son was a pleasure. This is a child that I have never experienced success socially. Not only did the teacher say he was great and contributed in meaningful ways to the discussion but he made a friend his own age. And they played for at least an hour after church with no problems. The play was appropriate and they were both smiling when they parted. I am so excited. We have been doing Masgutova for about 16 months and I am so thankful we persevered with the program. Taking the classes was the best investment we have ever made with our children!
