Children with Challenges offers the participant an opportunity to

learn about the role reflexes play in overall development while exploring the mechanics

of their integration with the whole "Body-Mind" system. This course will

provide a process to decrease stress while integrating the motor-sensory and

sensory-motor processes.

This course provides:

v

A basis for developing individualized programs for children who

have different developmental challenges: displaying aggressive behavior, worry

and fear, low learning motivation, chronic school failure, dyslexia,

hyperactivity (ADD and ADHD), autism, cerebral palsy, delayed intellect, and delayed

emotional development.

v

Specific characteristics of each challenge and how children with

developmental challenges can achieve reduction of learning stress, activation

of natural mechanisms of development, support of special basic developmental

and movement skills, facilitation of emotions, motivation, and movement

development and learning.

v

An understanding of how muscles, structure, and movement

coordination is affected by each challenge, and the specific dynamic and

postural reflexes that are commonly found to be non-integrated in each

challenge

v

The latest research by Dr. Svetlana Masgutova on her findings with

regard to each challenge

v

An introduction to facilitating and opposing dynamic and postural

reflexes and how to work with them

v

Games that can be used to work with the relevant skills needed for

each challenge

v

This course is not approved for use in the Brain Gym®

certification procedure.

Svetlana Masgutova is a Doctor in Developmental and Educational

Psychology, International Edu-K Faculty for Russia, Director of the

" Ascension " Institute, and the Edu-K Mentor

for Poland. For years she has worked as a University

lecturer and Russian

Educational Academy

scientific worker. She is the author of

54 publications on psychology, education, Edu-K, art creativity, and movement

development. The last 13 years, Svetlana

has been doing research work on the Educational Kinesiology Methods, and

studies the influence of the Edu-K movements on personality, emotions, and movement

development and learning challenges. She

is widely interested in using movement and drawing to facilitate the emotional

recovery and physical rehabilitation processes of a person. Svetlana works with psychologists, educators,

victims of catastrophes, war victims, abuse in childhood, social crises --

paying attention to their emotional recovery.

Cancellation Policy: If the participant cancels their registration at least three weeks

prior to the start date of the course, they will receive a complete refund

on all monies paid. If the participant cancels between 14-20 days before

the start date of the course, the deposit only is

non-refundable. If the participant cancels less than 14 days before the

start date of the course, a 20% administration charge will be retained

as well as the non-refundable deposit. All cancellation requests

must be submitted in writing to the course sponsor.
