, I would be willing to help you with anything I know how to do or you can tell me. I had aspired to do what you are doing a few years ago but I still was feeling too drugged to commit to anything that involved other people. So let me know. Also our payday is the 14th and I will send something than, let me know if you use paypal or what ever. I have really enjoyed the short relationship we have already had here and respect your expertice in our joint ( no pun intended)problems. Sorry another personal question when you had your revision, did they cut a wedge in a vertabra to allow you to straighten up. That is one of the things Der. King said that he would do and sad a friend in st.louis and sanfran agreed with him what do you think?Let ne know what I can do I wold be delighted. Regards and have a good afternoon. I am certainlygrateful for the donations I have received from a few members so far. Ionly wish more members who express their appreciation for this forumwould be willing to back up

all their good wishes with a dollar or two-- or the suggested $25 -- or the minimum suggested $10 . . . or evensome clue as to why they are NOT willing to donate! This remainssomething of a mystery. I do realize that most people expect at leastmost of their online experiences to be free of charge.Just please remember, if this group is important to you, and if youwould like to make it a stronger informational and advocacy resourcefor people with flatback syndrome, you may need to make a personalcontribution, whether of time or money or both. (Heck, if anyone herehas any specific fundraising experience, why not volunteer an hour or soa week to raise some funds for us?!)I am still envisioning a private website in ezine format (incorporatinga message-forum like this one), and I am plugging away at severalpotential books for adults with problems related to prior scoliosissurgery. There is so

much more that I -- that we -- could accomplishwith a somewhat improved cash flow and a few more hands on deck!Meanwhile, please forgive any lapse in correspondence on my part . . .Best,

Many thanks, Lynn. The biggest need is for someone to reorganize and update the files and links areas of our website. This would involve grouping similar articles together (some are not grouped that way) and deleting nonworking links or replacing them with better ones if these could be found on the Web. If you think this would interest you, do let me know. I will need to recheck my operation reports -- am I having another senior moment? -- but I believe I had wedge resection as part of my Boston surgery in 2001. When I was re-revised in Chicago two years later, my surgeon definitely did a pedicle subtraction osteotomy.
