Guest guest
, thank you for the info on Ondra/Koski. I'm still blown away by you walking 8 miles in one walk.....Holy *****. I can't even imagine that. Gives me hope. Bahadreama, thanks for the info on Bridwell in St. Louis. And thanx Andy for the confirmation on Boachie's new policy. So, I'm looking at Amarillo, St. Louis, and Chicago. They're all about the same distance from Georgia. Oh how I wish they were closer. Any feedback from those who have traveled far and wide? I'm pretty overwhelmed right now, considering all the options. This is becoming waaay bigger than I had imagined. I was initially excited when I made the decision to take on this mighty endeavor, and now I'm getting bogged down. I know I'll have many more days like this one. And I know you all can relate. First things first, I have an appt w my fam doctor Mon., who will need to refer me to a Spine doctor relatively close to home, so he can order all the tests and follow me afterwards. I'm sorry, I think I've already told ya'll this. Yes, I said " ya'll " !! I've seen several of the spine specialists out of Emory Clinic in Atlanta on and off for the last 10 yrs. The " head dog " there is Dr. Horton. I was very disappointed in him. I'll leave it at that. thx for letting me blah...... Loriann, I'm thinking of you a lot (not in a OMG fear kinda way), but in a compassionate sense. I used to work with people w spinal cord injuries, as a counselor in a long term rehab facility. Your courage is admirable. And to be given this path you're on, you must be an incredibly strong woman. peace to us all, camille
