Guest guest Posted January 21, 2008 Report Share Posted January 21, 2008 Hi, I have posted here a couple of times about hip pain and progressing curve after fusion. I just wanted to let ye know that I got my MRI results back and it showed a tear in the muscle which linens the ball and socket joint but after I told the surgeon other pains I am having i.e. pain now down the back of leg and front he said that this tear couldnt be causing all the pain and is more likely a combination of the back and hip. He said that a back operation to try and straigten the spine may or may not help with the pain but advised that I get intensive physio first to strengten back and hip muscles and if that does not work then he will do futher scans.I am going to go to a clinic which I mention before called scolisos SOS for 4 weeks.
