Guest guest
Hi, Everyone -- Scoliosis Treatment, the group, has an old email address for me that is bouncing. I am still trying to unravel the problem. And the NSF forums, where I actually do have a membership (somewhere), still have me on hold (in terms of allowing me to post) -- I applied at least 24 hours ago for membership under my current email address. Could someone who belongs to these groups -- or one or the other of them -- kindly send the following message on my behalf? Then please post to THIS group that you have done so, so that no one else feels the need to do the same thing. Deepest thanks! Here is the message (below). ------------------------------------------------------- A friend recently asked whether I know anyone who has MOST of her/his vertebrae fused. I told her I would ask online. After several operations for scoliosis and flatback syndrome, this young woman is currently fused from T3 to S1. That is the approximate length of my own fusion and is the longest fusion I have heard of (if memory serves). Unfortunately, in the years since her earlier fusion and revision surgeries, she has now developed significant neck problems. To treat these, her doctors want to fuse from C4 to T3. She wrote, " Sounds pretty scary if you ask me, that is why I would like to talk to anyone who has been there. " I would be grateful if you could help, or if you know someone who can. Would anyone with relevant information please email me: elizabethrgonzalez@...
