Lou, Very similar stuff here. lovesto fill containers. Cans,

baskets, bags excetera. The worse thing is: We are finishing our house which

my husband and I built ourselves. Construction comes with little hole and

spaces in unfinished floors and walls and pipes. loves to fill them with

little toys and cars and soft beanie animals. We have learned to not leave

these places exposed, but it took us adults awhile to get it. Pam Mom to 3

My guy is 12 going on 13 and is always stacking his videos in the living

room until they are " just so " . If you touch them he tells you to " stop it "

or just yells real loud at his brothers. Whenever we go to visit anyone he

packs up his backpack with videos, his favorite stuffed whale, books, papers

and last time, even a bathing suit! Whenever I tell him we're going to so

and so's house, he's says, " OK, I go pack. " What a trip he is!

Hi Lou,

Sounds just like Jodie and I hate to tell you this Jane won't grow out

of it if she is anything like Jodie.... Jodie loves lining her dolls up in

her room and talking to them , also the books and videos , she loves

stacking them....Jodie is 10

Jodie sometimes takes her dolls with her in the car and she puts there

seatbelt on and talks to them all the time, and if we leave the car without

them, watch out...hehheee

So you are not alone

Regards

Trish

Jodi and would be great friends!! Instead of dolls, lines up

beanie babies..along with the videos and books. Oh yea, shampoo bottles,

too. Right now the Donkey Kong cartridge goes where goes. Guess

it's his self impossed transition aide. I once picked him up from the pool

instead of camp and his lunch bag was still at camp. No biggie..NOT! He

pitched such a fit and I had to sign I want what and he said Donkey

Kong...then I realized it was in his lunch bag. I drove the 30 minutes back

to camp/daycare and had a very happy child. Lately he has wanted me to pack

his dinner in his lunch bag so he can take it and pretend he's at

camp...lol!!

All summer long I've had to pack up a sandwich in a ziploc and put it in the

Tarzan lunch box with chips and a juice box to get to eat lunch! He

will be sooooo glad when school starts!

Our Josiah, now 11, loves to store his treasures too. It got really bad when

my married daughter and her family moved. He was forever packing up

everything to move. One evening I was very tired and reclined in the living

room to watch some TV. I was listening to him play in his room--which

sounded innocent enough. I had left some empty boxes in the room that I

intended to use when I did some cleaning and sorting. Later, he called me in

to show me his accomplishment. He had packed up nearly every one of his toys

and a lot of his clothes. He was MOVING! :-)

We also go to a family camp for a week every summer. He used to (every once

in a while), pack for camp. I was amazed what a good job he did selecting

what to pack. Clothes, shoes, wash cloth, towel, toothbrush and soap in a

little baggy, and a bag of toys and books.

He doesn't do those things anymore, but he still loves to use old backpacks

and old lunch boxes, etc., to put his stuff in.

Sincerely, Shirley
