Guest guest
Hey, friends, I've been SERIOUSLY absent from the list for the past couple of busy weeks. I'm just checking in now to say hi - not much else. Maine is finally gorgeous, with the last of the snow melted (just in the last few days), flowers emerging, and the air warm with promise. TS Eliot wrote that " April is the cruelest month, mixing memory with desire, " and I know what he means - but I'll take it! Love, R
Guest guest
No, it isn't a given that he will develop AS and he may go into remission and never have another flare. It does happen and I hope for everyone who has the ReA that it does happen. Life can get pretty miserable otherwise. GA checking back in > Hello to all. Guest guest
Analia, we also pray that your husband also gets to that point faster. One little story I have written on here a few times is something that I say to myself many times. If I wake up breathing, I thank the Lord If I look in the local paper obituaries, I thank Him some more. If the computer boots up without crashing, I can safely get through the day. Besides, think about it folks, waking up breathing sure beats the alternative. I was sent a website the other day, it is http://deathclock.com and it will calculate your mortality. All you plug in is your birthday, height and weight and BMI reading which you can do on the site. It the calculates the year of your demise. Of course it is really just something to play with a bit. BTW it told me I would leave this mortal coil in the year 2038 that would put me in the mid nineties. Had a good laugh over that one. +Dave Analia wrote: On the other hand, it is so good to hear that so many people are so positive about their lives, despite their issues and difficulties. Guest guest
Cheryl . . . Hopefully they'll find that what they suspect is Melanoma isn't . . . . Doctors have been wrong before . . . Don't we ALL know that? Hugs and prayers, Rogene
Guest guest
Cheryl, Please let us know when you have any updates regarding your biopsies! This is frightening, I know from experience. I hope that the suspicious moles will come back as benign. What is happening with your rupture? I am sorry that I missed that post! I hope you are ok and I wish you all the best with getting this all sorted out.
