Guest guest
Hi Everybody: Wishing you a very Happy New Year!!! And also want to tell you hw very much I appreciate this list. It has been a godsend!!! , our is now 12 years old, but I do recall when he was your 's age (seems like yesterday). We also had feeding problems. I do believe it is a common thing for our kids. was so picky, the nutritionist was concerned about him not gaining enough weight. They recommended things like high fat foods, such as butter, peanut butter and molasses. Most of these foods (especially the molasses) gave him diarrhea. We ended up keeping him on formula until he was past two; apple sauce was his favorite food. He did like toast or crackers with peanut butter, scrambled eggs and Cheerios. Along with the formula for extra calories, this worked out well. Yogurt is also a good food for toddlers. By the time he reached about 3 1/2 yrs. he learned to love finger foods (such as chicken nuggets). Now he eats pretty much anything, pizza being his favorite. Thoughts and prayers to on his 6 month checkup. Hope all goes well!!! Again, Best Wishes and Happy New Year to All of you!!! A thousand thanks for being there!!!!!! Louise, mom to 12yrs.(ds) and 14yrs.

Guest guest
Dear , Abby is 26 months old and has had feeding problems since she was born. Part was due to the AV Canal defect that she had, but with some wonderful doctors and Gods help she is now a healthy 2 year old. But, she is a very picky eater. When I first introduced solids, I think she was around 9 months old and I started giving her cereal and bananas. She finally started gaining a little weight. She has had a hard time with solids, gaging on them, but if I just keep offering things a little at a time she does well. I think that she has trouble getting used to new textures. Anyway just keep trying. Abby never liked baby food very much, and is picky about pretty much everything that goes in her mouth. She likes to do it herself. Good Luck. Guest guest
Tim still drinks formula milk! he is 7 now. He won't touch cows milk unless it is mixed with cereal or made into custard or cheese sauce, guess he just doesn't like the taste. He drinks soya baby milk, ttried him on the adult carton version but he hated the non sweetend ones and I don't like pumping him full of sugar just to get milk into him so stick with the formula, works out cheaper too as there is no wastage.
