Guest guest
We also buckle up here. The only ticket I ever received was when the state police did a road check and took off his shoulder belt. Honestly, there was no place to pull over and redo him until I got to that road side checkpoint. Oh well..... I went out and purchased a car seat for an older child. Sometimes he still plays huidini and its a challenge keeping him in. A few months ago I read a post on another list where a mom actually got out and tied her child to his seat with a clothesline..and wouldn't you know she got pulled over after that happened!! She was told to untie him. I'm still laughing over that, I have met that mom and can just see that happening to her! I have to stress the importance of making sure others who transport your child knows how to properly install a carseat. I once transported an infant home from a visit with his parent. Someone else had picked him up. The car seat was not installed and had I wrecked, he would have been thrown and injured. I always check and double check. 's daycare center makes their staff take training in car seat safety.
