Hi,

My doc and I did some research and there's not a known connection

between Gleevec and blood clots. I don't think the Gleevec is what

caused my clots/PEs. But we don't know what did cause them.

MJ - it's good that you are calling your doctor's office back. Sometimes

they just don't get around to calling you! (By the way, no, my platelets

were not abnormally low; they're fine.)

Hi MJ,

I know that recently reported that she had some blood clots

and Kat from Austrailia had them too a while ago. I don't know if the

clots have been proven without a doubt to be due to Gleevec though.
