When Danny had pink eye a couple of months ago, the doc put him on antibiotics..cleared

it up for a couple of days, then it came back in both eyes worse than ever. The

doc ordered a different antibiotic (which I used) but I also used something

called ‘Stygiene’ 4 times a day..and I think that it helped more

than the antibiotic did.

I found this page after Danny’s eyes were all better:

We have never had a case of pink eye spread at our house either, and we have 7 kids. There must be different strains??? Antibioitics only made her eye more irritated and as soon as we stopped, it was back. Keep up with the milk for at least 24 hours after the eye looks fine, or it can come back. Carol in IL Mom to seven including , 6 with TOF, AVcanal, GERD, LS, Asthma, subglottal stenosis, chronic constipation ( cured now ) and DS. My problem is not how I look. It's how you see me.

Don't forget to wash pillow cases, etc and not to share towels! It does spread if everyone is not careful. Sounds like a few of you have been lucky but it does spread....even with proper hand washing. It all depends on how bad the infection. How are the eyes today????
