Guest guest
Hi MJ, Imodium (loperamide), 2 pills once every morning usually works well for me, and I use it most days. Sometimes I take it twice a day, but am leery about doing so too often, for fear of developing tolerance. Though I haven't been able to find data supporting this, I've been told that the reason Imodium works for IM-related diarrhea, even in such low doses, is is that it stimulates the very enzyme in the gut - C-Kit - that IM inhibits, and C-Kit activity is involved in slowing gut motility.
