Guest guest
Hi , I'm not aware of people becoming resistant (or tachyphylactic) to procrit, and I sort of doubt that that could happen, since procrit is nearly identical to human erythropoeitin, and we don't generally become resistant to our own hormones or growth factors - with the glaring exception of corticosteroids. It sounds more like your bone marrow is becoming more sensitive to the suppressive effects of IM - which would be yet another reason to join a trial for one of the new drugs!
