Aloha, Everyone!

Thanks to all who replied to my questions re Kutapressing and alpha

interferon, etc., and also for the support (I'm the one who has such a hard

time with medical terminology, etc.).

I've been a vegan for about 3 years now. It's weird, but my allergy tests

showed me as being allergic to red meat, but not to lamb, and only mildly

allergic to pork! Yes, it was Dr. Cheney who gave me the Kutapressin, too.

Also, now I'm wondering about the prions and mad cow disease. I first

became ill in Enlgand in 1976--my first trip over there. I got the 'flu

for the first time in my life in London, after touring around the country

for about 6 weeks. Now I wonder if it was British beef...No way to know

now, of course, but it's an interesting thought.

Will pass along the oral alpha interferon info (from C.?) to my

doctor. Thank you!

Also, thanks to Michele, for the encouraging words and the B-12 info. I'm

tired today, but woke up feeling better than I expected, since I was so

whacked out last night. My arm isn't even sore from the injection. Maybe

it will help. Sorry it didn't work for you, Michele.

Also, I wondered about the anti-coagulant therapy. Is anyone trying it? I

think I noticed some references to it a few days ago. I'm really having a

hard time keeping up with the list. If I've forgotten people's names, or

gotten names wrong, please forigive me. I called my husband by the cat's

name yesterday--he was NOT pleased:)

Prayers (to all who don't object) and love to all, especially thinking of

Stania right now.

Peace and wellness,

Teeza

when you say " clumps " , do you mean that you have bald patches? i have an

autoimmune hair loss disorder called alopecia areata that causes hair loss in

patches. i believe that lupus also causes patchy hair loss. it could of

course, be a drug side effect - i hope that's what it is. good luck at

finding out what it is. you might consider seeing a dermatologist - they're

pretty good at identifying the alopecia areata type of hair loss - the roots

of the hairs that fall out have a characteristic appearance.

Dear e-mail cancer group list member:

I am currently conducting a survey about a proposed new service that

could be beneficial in the treatment of acute and chronic leukemias, Hodgkin's

and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, and multiple myeloma. There is also

exploration into its usefulness for breast cancer and ovarian cancer.

Please click on the link below to get to the survey. Thanks for your

Hi.. I am a aromatherapy teacher..and I tell my students to use thier

heads..if you use phototoxic EO's it is alittle safer to use those

phototoxic EO's in Seattle( where the sun is not as prevalent) than is most

places, As long as your client is NOT tannnig or living in a place where

there is not alot if exposure to sun. You have to remember that books on AT

are written for the lay people and they have to cover their asses..if you

have some knowledge of safety info you should be ok.. check out the book " Eo

and their Safety for HCP( health care practitoners) by Robt Tisserand (the

guru of EO's) feel free to pick my old tired brain erin in seattle

Salts added to water is what makes the water " soft " . It may have the same

>Also, members of this group, and other documentation that I have come

across, suggest strongly that since ASA is one side of the Triad, by

desensitizing you " break up " the triad, and so the other symptoms -- polyps

and asthma, are elimated or at least lessened. 8 days into the process,

I'm not sure about this part yet, for me.

Howdy Ken, after two continuous years on aspirin I can definitely say that

although my asthma was better overall, my sinus problem didn't seem

effected. Now that I'm polyp free (well as good as it gets) we'll see.

Four months after the op I'm in a bad way. Peak flows around 150-250,

better only with ventolin, then only up 350. I think I'm reacting to a

whole heap of other things - preservatives, etc, cold air, windy days, you

name it! It's been a month since I was re-desentitised. No benefit yet. But

I can eat high salicylate foods, and do.

Like , I'm prone to long sneezing bouts just after getting up. They

last for about an hour or so, then clear.

They are brown. I'm writing to the company to find out if there are any

colourings, etc in them. It doesn't say on the jar, so I guess that means

yes.
